Commit to a plan of thinking

Success in just about anything is dependent upon our commitment to a plan. Jesus says we must love God with all our inward ability, "all heart, all mind, all soul, and all strength."

Deuteronomy 6:6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Follow new Godly direction

Think outside of the box (our own understanding)

Question ourselves not God

Question ourselves not God

Question ourselves not God

When we read in the Bible some simple achievable instructions (speak the truth, slow to anger, pray) and we convince ourselves not to do it we ought to think deeper as to how we made that decision ~ not to do it.

Do it anyway

Question ourselves not God

Question ourselves not God

Whatever our inclination we ought to do what the Bible says and get a better understanding of what it means. Consultation about this with a spiritual leader is recommended to help set some achievable goals.

Always have goals

Question ourselves not God

Keep Godly Thoughts

If we do not have a goal to improve then we probably won't. Goal setting is part of any successful practice.

Keep Godly Thoughts

Keep Godly Thoughts

Since we ought to love God with all our mind, then we first must set our minds with God. Each day we must set our thoughts and Godly character to develop a Godly mindset. We can think about God with our senses (think love and feel it). We can think about truth and how it feels to be in truth.

Godly Discussions

Sharing our improved ideas, goals, and experiences with others can help grow our mindsets with God. We ought to challenge each other with love to help each other keep growing. Such discussions ought to be regular, weekly or more.

Godly Discussions

Praying for strength to do God's will more and more can do great things for us. Willingness to pray and seek God's help is always a huge first step in the right direction.
